This week, we launched paid-for services on Guardian Unlimited. It’s gone pretty well, although the attitude of some people towards digital content (as, why on earth would I pay for it? It doesn’t cost you anything to provide it) is sort of extraordinary. But in terms of technical and production implementation, it’s all gone far, far better than I could have hoped for.

So back to posting on the company’s time!
